Center for Community Engagement - Multimedia Project
For my JOUR 270 Multimedia Storytelling class, I created a collection of digital pieces highlighting the work of the Center for Community Engagement at CSULB. I began by writing an article that introduced the center, shared its mission, and previewed an upcoming ceremony event. My goal was to communicate the heart of the center’s work in a way that felt clear, accessible, and uplifting.
After attending the event, I produced a vertical‑format video recap that captured key moments, student involvement, and the energy of the day. I also created a photo slideshow featuring group photos and short descriptions to showcase the community impact and the people behind the work. To tie everything together, I designed an infographic that summarized the center’s purpose, programs, and opportunities for student engagement.
This project strengthened my ability to tell meaningful stories across multiple formats, blending writing, video, photography, and design to highlight community‑centered work with clarity, warmth, and intention.
